THE RESULTS – 7th Annual USI REGULAR SEASON HOCKEY POOL

It was another close battle, which went down to the last game. 

FIRST PLACE – Todd Champion from Stacey Electric finished with 902 points, he's the GRAND PRIZE winner of a 42" FLAT PANEL LCD TV & BLUE RAY DVD PLAYER

SECOND PLACE – Darcy Campbell from HD Supply finished with 900 points, he won four (4) Gold tickets to any Ottawa Senators Regular season game for the 2008/2009 Season.

THIRD PLACE – Reg Seguin from HD Supply finished with 893 points, he won four (4) USI concrete Roman Style flower pots.

LAST PLACE – Gary McClure from Guild Electric wins a one year subscription to the Hockey News.

New Concrete Pole Storage Facility

USI grows with a new Storage Facility for concrete poles. This new project began in the fall of 2007 and officially opened on March 28, 2008.  Its features include - two (2) new state of the art overhead cranes, covered roof, and over 25,000sf of pole storage capacity. This new area will allow us to store more concrete poles, increase production levels, and decrease delivery times.

New Production Facility

USI opens a new 13,000sf Production Facility. This new facility will concentrate on producing electrical manholes, transformer bases, highway jersey barriers & security barriers. It also incorporates the latest energy efficient features such as high bay fluorescent lights, supra infrared heaters, and precast insulated sandwich panels which gives us a R20 value. All these features lead to a more Green building & 50% more efficient structure, which in turn helps our environment.
