We now make it easy for you to specify our concrete poles. All of our Concrete Pole Style's now have a link to a Pole Code Generating page. Make your selections (i.e. Pole Style, Overall Height, etc.), following Steps 1 through 7, and your Pole Code will be automatically generated. Use this code to specify the pole you require, and if you require a quote for this pole, continue on and fill out the Request A Quote form.

NEW - Camera Lowering Pole (HA-700-K-1-PG-90)
Concrete poles offer the perfect solution for camera / security equipment because of their low vibration and extremely rigid qualities. USI has been producing concrete camera poles for the past 25 years, but in May 2009, we extended that line to include a camera lowering device.
We're proud to announce that we've entered into an agreement with Access Point Lowering Systems www.cameralowering.ca to provide this complete package. The poles are available in various heights, according to your specifications.

Specialty Products Drawings Available Online
We completed the final installment of our web site, by adding the Specialty Products section. This section includes concrete storage sheds, cable markers and miscellaneous accessories. Each item has downloadable PDF file & description. The concrete Storage Sheds are available in many different colours and finishes.

NEW Elliptical Pole Base (E54)
In July of this year we've added to our ever growing list of prefab precast pole bases, model E54 is unique as it encompasses the following features: elliptical cross section - which allows it to be placed on tight sidewalks, decorative etched top section – which allows the unit to be exposed 6" to 12" above grade and protects the pole from snow plough damage. Precast pole bases are available in many different colours and finishes, allowing them to match the pole, or the streetscape. To meet the demands of increased security & to avoid any gaps, we developed the I-Lock corner barrier (model E48). Its available in both left or right hand turns. New Concrete Pole Storage Facility
USI grows with a new Storage Facility for concrete poles. This new project began in the fall of 2007 and officially opened on March 28, 2008. Its features include - two (2) new state of the art overhead cranes, covered roof, and over 25,000sf of pole storage capacity. This new area will allow us to store more concrete poles, increase production levels, and decrease delivery times.

New Production Facility
USI opens a new 13,000sf Production Facility. This new facility will concentrate on producing electrical manholes, transformer bases, highway jersey barriers & security barriers. It also incorporates the latest energy efficient features such as high bay fluorescent lights, supra infrared heaters, and precast insulated sandwich panels which gives us a R20 value. All these features lead to a more Green building & 50% more efficient structure, which in turn helps our environment.
